Reflexology
Your physical & emotional health is reflected in your feet.
Let me interpret your body’s messages using reflexology to support your healing.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a non-invasive hands-on technique used to promote healing in the body. A reflexology session is deeply relaxing and nurturing, aiming to slow the nervous system, which in turn promotes healing and recovery.
Reflexology uses gentle finger and hand techniques to stimulate the nerve endings on your feet, encouraging the brain and body to respond to new nerve stimuli, bringing balance and a complete re-set of all body systems.
Reflexology deals with the principle that there are reflected (or ‘reflex’) areas in the feet, ears and hands that correspond to all major body parts. These ‘reflex’ points have been mapped over many thousands of years, to show the association to all body parts as they present in the feet. Stimulating these reflexes can support and help ease many health concerns in a natural way, offering general health and well-being maintenance.

The origins of Reflexology are known to date back to 2300 BC in Ancient Egypt. Many of the world’s major cultures have used Reflexology for healing in varying forms and techniques, including China, India, Europe and the Americas.
Modern Western style Reflexology is credited to an incredible lady named Eunice D. Ingham, who is affectionately known to many as the “mother” of Reflexology in the western world. She started to create early Reflexology foot charts in the 1930s.
Reflexology deals with the principle that there are ‘reflex’ areas in the feet, ears and hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly can help many health problems in a natural way, and can be a type of preventative maintenance. The ‘reflex’ points have been mapped (see above image on this page) and show the association to all body parts, including glands and organs.

The human body contains myriad connections of nerves, muscles and tissues that create an interconnected network throughout your body. When blockages of energy or disruptions of electrical impulses are present, Reflexology can assist the body to clear these pathways.
Reflexology works at all levels on the physical, mental and emotional body. As many human illnesses and health conditions originate with physical, mental or emotional stressors held in the body and mind; Reflexology aims to relieve this stress by treating the body in a natural and holistic manner.
Reflexologists do not diagnose, nor cure any illness or condition. A reflexologist can inform you of their observations of the noticeable reflexes at the end of the session for further discussion with you.

I practice a gentle, hands-on approach to reflexology. My training is in Western reflexology, which doesn’t use tools or implements, unlike some other styles that can sometimes feel quite intense.
My sessions are designed to be comfortable and supportive. Occasionally, you might feel a mild tenderness when I touch certain areas—this simply indicates where your body may have an imbalance. I will always adjust the pressure to ensure your experience is soothing and restorative.

Yes!
It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous about trying reflexology, but there’s no need to worry—I’ve seen it all before. Many clients have ticklish feet at the start, but the firmer pressure I use usually prevents those light, ticklish sensations. Within the first 5–10 minutes of your session, most people find they’re completely comfortable and able to relax, letting the experience work its magic.

Auricular (ear) reflexology works on the hundreds of reflex points on the outside of your ear.
Using a metal probe, I press on the reflex points. You may feel warmth, slight tenderness, or a light buzzing or tingling sensation—this shows where your body may be out of balance. Ear seeds are then applied to the key points to provide ongoing stimulation and can be worn for up to five days.
I often combine ear reflexology with foot reflexology, as they work together to support your overall well-being. If you need to cancel a session due to illness, I can guide you on which ear reflex points to massage at home, making ear reflexology a simple and effective self-care tool between sessions.

There are no contraindications to reflexology during the first trimester, and it can be wonderfully supportive throughout your entire pregnancy, all the way to the birth of your child.
I completely understand if you feel a little nervous—that’s perfectly normal. During our session, I can avoid certain reflex points if you prefer, so you feel completely comfortable and safe.
I’ve had the privilege of working with many pregnant women, and it’s such a special and beautiful phase of life. Every soon-to-be mother deserves the chance to relax, recharge, and feel supported through reflexology.

Yes! I can arrange reflexology for any group event.
I’m happy to attend hen parties, women’s circles, corporate team-building days, girls’ weekends, family gatherings, and similar occasions.
I’m also well connected with other wonderful reflexologists, so if your event requires more than one practitioner, we can discuss the options together.
Please get in touch here, and we can work out all the details to make your event truly relaxing and memorable.

Yes, and I absolutely love it! I’m a mum to three children, and they were all raised with reflexology. Whenever I’m holding a baby or toddler, my hands are naturally drawn to their adorable little feet.
Babies and children respond very quickly to reflexology, so sessions can be short and gentle. The rest of the time, we can play and cuddle—or even treat Mum or Dad to a little reflexology too!
